The World Needs More Cowboys

Since 2002, prior to transporting a firearm into the United States for hunting or target shooting, a gun owner from out of country must complete the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) form 6NIA and submit it and a copy of his hunting license or invitation to a shooting event to the ATF for approval prior to entering the United States with a weapon. This can be a lengthy process, so the ATF is suggesting a 6-week turn around. Form 6NIA is available from the ATF or from U.S. Customs
